The secret of Reiki

Let me give you a simple explanation about attunement.
When Usui sensei realized the Reiki Ryoho along with his spiritual awakening, after twenty one days of fast on Mt. Kurama in Kyoto, he reached a thought that “This power should not be monopolized in a single family, I must spread it to other people.” The results of his research of numerous literatures and study, he completed the techniques such as to receive energy called Reiju and to accelerate the Reiki flow called Hatsurei-ho.

He establish ‘Usui Reiki Ryoho Society’ and performed Sho-den(the entrance) energy giving and gave the healing ability to anyone who wished. The very first place Reiju was performed was Harajuku in Tokyo, then it went over to the United States and transformed into attunement.

While attunement , according to dictionaries, is used as “tuning into the same wavelengths of radio”, it is used to express receiving energy which is to tune into the energy in the higher dimension. “Attune” also means used as “tuning a piano” or “mentally sharing the same wavelength.”

Some Reiki masters(teachers) call it initiation instead. Applying it to the present day, it corresponds to opening the chakras. ( They do not mean exactly the same thing.)

When performing attunement, Reiki master gets connected with the wave of Reiki and surrounds him/herself with the light after purifying his/her mind and body, then sets up the flowing line for Reiki along the spine. Reiki masters send Reiki into the points of the flowing line and tries to accelerate the flow. Then master sends an excess of Reiki off from the feet onto the ground, and performs tuning again to let the palm of the hands radiate strong healing energy.

In level 2 and higher, they set up the conditions on each point for resonating with the wave of the higher dimension using symbols and mantras.

All above should be performed thoroughly by masters who are capable of sending clear and fine energy of Reiki, and this is called “the essence of Reiki-ho.”

As students practice to purify their mind and body in level 2, now it’s the time for them to take a higher learning in Reiki-ho. Level 3 or called Shinpiden offer a deeper learning into the spiritual dimension of Reiki-ho. Three attunements will be given along with “the fourth symbol and mantra”. The fourth symbol, called Usui symbol or Master symbol, is at the highest of Reiki-ho and considered very sacred oveseas. Those attunements change the way the energy flow, finer and denser. Some people even start feeling some kind of sweetness and peace of mind. 

At this level, you will not consider Reiki just as a technique but you hope to become connected and resonate with the consciousness in the higher dimension. The wave of guidance for spiritual growth will raise your spirit through your daily life at all times. In this level, the healing ability and self-cleansing ability with Reiki progress remarkably.

You learn and practice in as follows
1.  The meaning and usage of the fourth symbol, “Master symbol”
2.  Contacting technique with the higher dimension ( The consciousness in the higher dimension,   higher self, etc.)
3. Deepen your meditation and raising yourself ( meditation technique, affirmation technique, etc.)

"Hands-on healing" is a natural healing method that has existed since ancient times. From ancient times, both in the Orient and the Occident, people have been aware of the mysterious energy radiated from "the palm of the hand". When people have a stocmach-ache or headache. Everyone puts their hands on the affected area. Also for an injury or contusion, we also put our hands on the hurting area by reflex action. This action is not conscious but instinctive. I believe hand-on healing is a natural form of healing. I've seen many Javanese woman always touch their children on the hurt area to alleviate the suffering, its our instinctive nature. But i don't know about kings in Europe did healing touch? anyone have the information?

How do you Guide and Teach Them?

I will try to explain the answers to these questions through my experience hoping to be understood by everybody. Also the technique for self cleansing and self growth will be taught in this book. Before I stated the five characteristics of Reiki-ho, but those are only part of the story, The real quality of Reiki-ho is not that easy. If you understood all those, you may limit your Reiki-ho to that much of the teaching without making any effort to learn more, or Reiki-ho could be taken as a technique to develop and satisfy an egotistic purpose and make you arrogant and proud. This kind of attitude is far from the true use of Reiki-ho. There’s no need to say that.

The essence of Reiki-ho is not only limited to developing the healing ability, it should also be used for self cleansing, self-growth and self empowerment, we complete the “necessary study” through our daily life in.

Part 1. “This is Reiki-ho” is useful for the people who have already learned Reiki and for people who want to learn now, this section provides the necessary knowledge.

Part 2. “Reiki Q & A” I am answering and explaining questions, for people to understand Reiki Deeper.

Part 3. “Techniques for self cleansing and Growth” I am introducing the procedures and techniques for self cleansing and self growth, and also offering various kinds of useful technique for self empowerment. Especially by showing the technique Usui- sensei taught, Hatsurei-ho, it is very usefull as an exercise for developing your ability and progressing your spirituality.

After they amster all these processes, people can use them for seeking the(ultimate)enlightment that Usui-sensei reached I am introducing in this book that ultimate way of Reiki use. Significance of Reiki-ho’s Return to Japan.

Recently the number of people who are interested in Reiki-ho has increased and is spreading rapidly, many publishers are publishing Reiki books, and special articles of Reiki-ho are published in the spiritual magazine. Some have ever revealed the master symbols which was secret in Japan for a long time. At last the seal was opened. The phenomena were happening. I understand that the time may not be ripe for these phenomena, but we need this Reiki-ho for Japan now.

To create a peaceful and rich society , do not be misguided by the idea of end of the century prophecies; seek for joy and happiness now.
I believe that we shoul constantly make the effort to aim for a higher self, and take responsibility for our own life.
The environment surrounding us is filled with stress and excess tension harming mind and body. There is no room for people to give compassion for others when people themselves are in pain. We first, must release ourselves from unnecessary tension and learn to live in relaxing always. Reiki-ho is wonderfully effective as a relaxation method to eliminate stress.

Let’s Understand More About Reiki-ho
Nowadays, there are many groups and individuals who offer seminars for Reiki-ho. And the number of Reiki Masters(teachers) who can perform the “energy initiation” has gradually increased. When on Dec 23rd 1997, there was a lecture meeting in Tokyo, I participated in featuring “Teaching traditional Reiki”. I participated as one of the speakers. There it was reported that there is about 2.000 people registered with “Reiki websites”

Now, do all Reiki Masters have the same ability as each other? Whoever you learned from, is the level the same? Why is there a difference between the duration of seminars or curriculum? Is the traditional Reiki Usui-sensei founded and western Reiki the same?
How are the attunements performed? Etc.

No clear answer was given to those who wanted to learn Reiki from now.

Also for people who have already learned Reiki-ho, is there enough follow up teaching given to each level of Reiki taught? For example some might say, “it seems like I felt it was effective but actually I’m not quite sure”. After I took the seminar, the others said” I was taught you don’t get bad energy, but I found that I felt pain each time I gave a Reiki session”.

This new year, brings its blessings to everyone. Many opportunities are open for us to take it. Be always faithfull that God always there to protect and guide you. I am quite happy and feel deep gratitude to God, finally i realized that God never abandon me, always with and always guide me.
